Splintex™ Gold is formulated for cold splints, capped hocks, sesamoiditis and early ringbone. Interruption to the horse's daily routine is usually not required unless lameness is present. Total treatment time may be in excess of 30 days. Applicator brush is included. Contains distillates, camphor, salicylate, worm wood, eucalyptus, menthol, thymol and other ingredients.

Directions for Fresh Splints: Can typically be up to 60 days after initial appearance. Apply Splintex every 2nd -3rd day very lightly. Bandage with plastic cling wrap under a standing bandage. Do this for 15 days maximum. It is best to allow the horse total rest.

Directions for Old Splints: Interruption to the horses regular routine is usally not required. Apply in cycles of 3 days on, 2-3 days off, bandaging optional. Apply lightly. Continue treatment as long as necessary. Temporary scurfing and/or hair loss may occur following excessive application. Allow recovery period if required.
